After a fun day at the park with a friend and her 2 kids, I decided on a easy dinner, Homemade Pizza. We didn’t realize what time it was, and I found myself a little short on time when we walked in the door late afternoon. My lack of time before dinner meant I was on the hunt for a new pizza dough recipe. My usual recipe I get set up in the bread maker, walk away, then come back a few hours later to perfectly risen dough. Some research later I came across a recipe for dough that I thought I would give a try.
Ben insisted on helping, which takes longer but I do love his eagerness to help me bake or cook. We got out the dough ingredients and measured out everything to then mix with our hands. He wasn’t a fan of mixing the dough by hands, almost as soon as he stuck his little fingers in to mix, he exclaimed he needed to wash his hands. Needless to say, I finished off the dough myself!
He was a good little helper for the rest of our tasks: spreading out the tomato sauce, adding toppings and sprinkling on the cheese. He was quite proud of himself when Daddy walked in the door, telling him that he had made dinner.
We all agreed the new dough recipe was really good, I think from now on I will use it instead of my original bread maker recipe!
